1200w Bicolor M-series by Falcon Eyes
The FalconEyes M-series Bi-color Fresnel is implanted with the new DeSal Lite+ system, it’s an advanced lighting control system that can create a wide range of lighting effects with Bluetooth APP control technology.
The new lighting control system gives you flexibility to control color temperature stepless from 2500K to 9999K, it has a built-in scene effect mode with preset lighting effects as lightning, candle light, TV, etc. The program-free system can instantly create special scene effects including speed and dimmer adjustment in studio use.
The M-series is equipped with high quality LED chip for producing high color accuarcy lighting of CRI 95+, beam angle is adjustable from 20° up to 50°. It is also built with a silent fan mode that allows the fan to be turned off for fully silent operation to fulfill all the professional lighting requirements.
For finer control, a four-blade barndoor set is included to control the beam spread to help isolate the subject as desired. The classic U-bracket yoke design allows 90 degree tilting, as well as mounting on a standard 5/8″ stud stand. We must compare COB Led and HMI at same output. Arri M18 could be compared with Falcon Eyes 1600w for example. Comparison is always a bit complex since there are two parameters: the overall luminous flux (in lumen) and the luminance at the centre of the beam (in lux). A very narrow beam can reach an impressive value in lux, but will be unusable because it is too narrow. Even when the angle of two beams is the same, that does not mean the falloff are the same. Latest LED to HMI efficiency seems pretty similar. We find the M1200 with 1600W COB Output close to as bright as a ARRI M18 for example. COB LEDs are absolutely the future, young DOPs don’t want to use HMI anymore.
